OVERVIEW
Lucerna is an AI-powered intelligence platform developed by Jaeger Technology that brings together complex data from multiple sources to help users identify relationships, uncover patterns, and make informed decisions.
PROJECT SUMMARY
We designed and built the Lucerna design system and front-end experience, creating the visual and interaction foundation for a complex intelligence platform. The work brought UX/UI design, front-end development, data visualization, and systems thinking together to create a scalable product experience capable of supporting Lucerna’s evolving functionality.

CHALLENGE
Lucerna needed an interface capable of presenting complex intelligence without creating unnecessary complexity for the people using it.
The platform brings together multiple types of information, analytical tools, visualizations, and AI-powered capabilities. Without a cohesive design and development foundation, introducing new features could quickly lead to inconsistent interactions, fragmented visual patterns, and a product that became increasingly difficult to navigate.
SOLUTION
We designed and built the Lucerna design system and front end, establishing the foundation for a consistent, scalable product experience.
We translated the platform's complex workflows into reusable interface patterns, components, and visual structures that could be applied across Lucerna's various experiences. The design system created consistency across typography, color, components, states, interactions, and data-driven interfaces while giving the front-end a structured foundation for implementation.
The front-end development brought those designs into the working product, connecting the system to Lucerna's functionality and creating a cohesive experience across the platform.
Together, the design system and front-end established a foundation that allows Lucerna to scale its capabilities without sacrificing usability, consistency, or visual clarity.
